The sun sets in the Everglades here. So I could hardly believe what I was seeing when this massive gator head appeared one night! I can only imagine what the Seminoles would have thought if the gods presented something like this to them years ago.
Traffic in the Everglades
I watch the news when I get ready for work in the morning. This morning’s traffic report included something I haven’t seen yet. A road was backed up because an alligator made his way on to it, blocking one of the lanes. Unfortunately someone ran over the poor guy and he has to be put down. Gator blocks traffic
Always and For Everglades
Before moving to Florida I used to think, “why would anyone ever want to go to the Everglades? It’s nothing but alligators and mosquitoes.” Boy was I wrong! I fell in love with it the first time I was out there. I couldn’t believe how much life was everywhere I looked…birds, flowers, fish, trees, turtles, all so healthy and full of life. It’s an incredible ecosystem everyone should see.
